first time, Studios 121 has sent its filming crew to Vietnam to make a documentary which
introduces Colonel Paul Longgear and his characteristics-building factors. Highlighting
the individual “heroism” is one typical feature of the American cinema and
television. However, the character Paul Longgear is described in depth with humanity
in his emotions and love, thoughts and actions in his relations with his family,
comrades, former foes, duty and loyalty of a professional soldier. The film, to
be aired late in March 2012, will also reflect positive changes in Paul
Longgrear thinking about a regime that he used to have unkind impression.
Paul Longgrear’s first return
trip with family to Vietnam
after the war ended, especially the meeting with his former foes has created positive

Based on the constructive comments
by the character, the reportage is viewed to reflect objectively about Vietnamese
country and people, to introduce beautiful scenery, to tell about history of
the war against the US with images of Vietnam brave and intelligent soldiers
who are brightened with the indomitable spirit of the nation, the tolerance,
hospitality and the sympathy deepened in Vietnamese humanism.
