FPC worked with Departures
Entertainment Inc. (Canada)
in making an episode of a world-traveling TV series for discovering the
outstanding landscapes and the rich of culture in Vietnam.
The crew traveled through out Vietnam from the jungle to the
ocean, from highlands to deltas, from busy cities to quite villages…meeting a
lot of people, traveled about 1900kms from south up to north in from 10th to 22th
of May . The episode Departures is an action-packed and personal journey of two
travelers who leave their lives behind in search for unique experiences through
some of the most beautiful and remote places on earth. From epic landscapes and
unforgettable culture, to the often trying times that come with international
travel, the series chronicles the unforgettable friendships, personal successes
and sometimes crushing disappointments that befall them on their journey.
Departures is as much about the journey as it is the destination. No prizes, no
contests, just real life, real feelings, real experiences and real travel.
Departures wins a Gemini Award for Best
Photography in 2008 and it airs on OLN (7days a week), and in HD Friday nights
on CITY TV and Discovery channel.
