On May 3, the Ca Mau Election Committee to the 13th NA deputies and People’s Council at all levels organized a meeting to review the preparation for the election.
As reported, so far, the Ca Mau Province carried out the establishment of a subcommittee under the provincial election committee and organized consultation meetings to select 11 candidates to stand for 13th NA deputies election, including three introduced by central agencies and nearly 5,000 candidates for People’s Council election at all levels.
From May 4 to 14, these candidates will meet voters to present their action programs as a foundation to be elected.
On the same day, an inspection group led by NA Deputy Chairman Huynh Ngoc Son worked in Thua Thien – Hue Province on the preparation for the election.
At the working inspection, Party Central Committee (PCC) member, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, Nguyen Ngoc Thien informed people on the implementation of the election. For meeting voters, candidates to the 13th NA deputies election will have 38 contacts and 83 contacts by candidates for the provincial People’s Council. For announcing the list of candidates, 13 candidates to the 13th NA deputies election are allocated to three electoral units, with three of them to be elected.
84 official candidates for the election of the People’s Council at provincial level in the 2011-2016 tenure are allocated in 14 electoral units to elect 52 candidates, 458 candidates at district level in 75 electoral units to elect 303 candidates and 5,876 candidates at commune level in 961 electoral units to elect 3,868 candidates.
NA Deputy Chairman Huynh Ngoc Son applauded the preparation for the election in Thu Thien – Hue Province and affirmed that the province was well prepared for the election under legal regulations.
