Việt Nam and Cambodia should accelerate negotiations to soon finalize an agreement on civil and trading juridical assistance, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng said on August 30 when receiving visiting Cambodian Minister of Justice Ang Vong Vathana.
The agreement will create a necessary legal framework for enterprises of Việt Nam and Cambodia to cooperate and do business conveniently, helping foster the bilateral trade and economic relations, the PM said.
The host leader stated that the friendly and cooperative ties between the two countries are developing vigorously and should be expanded and deepened in all fields, especially economics, trade, science, technology, culture, security and defense.
The Cambodian Minister informed the PM about his talks with his Vietnamese Minister of Justice Hà Hùng Cường, saying that the two sides have shared experience and discussed measures to finalize the agreement and strengthen cooperation between the two ministries.
Mr. Ang Vong Vathana is visiting Việt Nam from August 27 to September 1 at the invitation of Mr. Hà Hùng Cường.
