Vietnam, as a neighbour of Thailand
and an ASEAN member as well as the current ASEAN Chair, pays great attention to
the complicated developments in Thailand
at present, said Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Nguyen Phuong Nga.
In an announcement issued on
April 11, the spokeswoman said, “Vietnam wants concerned parties to restrain
themselves, avoid the use of violent actions and address issues through
peaceful dialogues in order to soon stabilise the situation in Thailand”./.
