China violates Vietnam’s sovereignty: FM spokeswoman |

Vietnam reaffirms its
indisputable sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly)
archipelagos. Chinese dispatch of fishery administration ships to
patrol Truong Sa area is a serious violation of Vietnam ’s
sovereignty over the archipelago.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokeswoman
Nguyen Phuong Nga delivered
the statement on April 5 in response to questions from the media about
Vietnam 's reaction toward Chinese dispatch of two vessels to Truong
Sa archipelago on April 1.
“Vietnam calls on the Chinese side to immediately end the operation
and refrain from further actions that may cause tension, further
complicate the situation in the East Sea and affect the maintenance of
peace, stability and cooperation in the region,” Nga said./.
