VGP – A new website themed “Questions–Answers: Connecting voters with
National Assembly deputies” was launched yesterday afternoon by the
Office of National Assembly in collaboration with the British Embassy
with a view to shortening the space between the public and their
representatives while creating an open and interactive arena for ideas
to be exchanged.
People can go to http://hoidap.quochoi.vn where they publicly post their questions, comments and ideas to National Assembly deputies on all domestic issues, Deputy Chairman of the Office of National Assembly Nguyễn Sỹ Dũng said. Also, people will have access to updated working activities of their representatives.
On the other hand, through the website, NA deputies can learn more about people and their issues, hence serving them better. Thus, the image of the National Assembly can be polished in the eyes of the public, Mr. Dũng further explained.
According to British Ambassador Mark Kent, the website follows the foundation structure of Web Yoosk which is successfully used by the British Government to communicate with their people.
At the moment, the website content will focus on topics relating to the performance and agenda of the National Assembly in 2010, such as education quality, food hygiene and safety, etc.
