The Arabic-language Al Jazeera TV, headquartered in Qatar, on March 2 broadcast a short documentary film on the late President Ho Chi Minh – a hero of national liberation and an outstanding cultural activist.

The five-minute film presented images of Ho Chi Minh and Vietnam’s struggles for national independence against foreign aggressors from the late 1940s until the country achieved national unification in 1975. “Ho Chi Minh is a Vietnamese national who is admired by both his countrymen and international friends”.

Al Jazeera TV, one of the Arab world’s biggest TV networks, has carried many reports on Ho Chi Minh’s life and work.
