A general press permit will be issued by the Department of Press and Information (MOFA) upon the arrival of foreign journalists in Vietnam. Photographing and filming permit of specific people, places, localities and offices will be arranged by the interpreter/coordinator at the requests of the journalists and in accordance with the approved programs.

 Any changes in the scheduled programs must be informed in advance to FPC for consideration. When journalists are traveling to the provinces outside bigger cities, they may be accompanied by local foreign affairs officials.
