According to the regulations of Vietnam ( please see Regulations on Press and Information Activities of Foreign Journalists and Offices in Vietnam) all journalists coming into Vietnam for reporting purposes must have journalism visa.

In the letter, information about their agency, purpose of their trip, specific programs, duration of stay and their personal data such as full name, date of birth, nationality, passport number, should all be included as well as the intended place of  visa pick up  ( please refer to Media Application Form )
