400 outstanding students from poor families from Ho Chi Minh City and 10 provinces in the Mekong river delta will take part in a festival entitled “Lighting dreams of Vietnamese children” to be held on October 31^st and November 1^st 2009.

The programme will be held by the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Bank of Foreign Trade of Vietnam.

Children will enjoy camping, folk games and exchanges with other children from provinces.

22 students will be presented scholarships, worth 1,000,000 VND each.
