TVE.jpgFPC- A crew of the TVE international news program, En Portada, recently has spent two weeks in Vietnam to film a report on the present situation of the victims of Agent Orange and the explosive remnants of war which continues to pose an enormous threat to many Vietnamese civilians.

The TV crew has been in Da Nang, Quang Tri and other localities to talk to people who still day by day suffered the consequences of war.

“I admired very much the forgiveness of the Vietnamese people who have taken the past aside and looked forwards to the future. What we had filmed during our trip would help Spanish people understand more about the consequences of the war in Vietnam and  make the world’s future without the same losses”, said Ms. Angela Garcia, producer of TVE, after the trip.

This 40 minutes report is set to be aired on En Portada, the “flagship” documentary program in TVE, on November 29, 2009 and then on other channels in European countries. In 2005, En Portada made a documentary “ Vietnam, the emerging dragon”, a general view of the socio-economic development of the country.
