The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) have agreed to assist Vietnam in cancer control through IAEA’s Programme of Action for Cancer Therapy (PACT).

Thai Public Health Ministry expressed readiness to assist Vietnam in developing its universal health-care coverage scheme, scheduled to be implemented in 2014, according to National News Bureau of Thailand.

The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria will provide 86 million USD for a project supporting Vietnam ’s health system in 2012-2016 term, according to the Ministry of Health.
