Educators call on to remove national high school final exam

A lot of educators and analysts have called on the Ministry of Education and Training to remove the national high school final exam, which they believe is unnecessary and too costly.
The Phu Luu Te Primary School yard in Ha Noi's My Duc District is crowded with pupils on Saturday mornings, all eagerly awaiting a mobile library carrying books, computers and educational games.

The babyhood of Vietnam children seems to becoming shorter because they have to begin learning at the year of four or five instead of six. Vietnamese parents now force their 5-year-old children to practice writing before they officially go to primary schools.
The seats at “star schools” are getting more and more expensive, since the demand is too high, while the supply is limited. Brokers now offer to sell seats at the schools at 3000 dollars (60 million dong) for each.
