An agreement on exploring and processing kali salt in Nongbok district, Khammouan province in Laos worth US$450 million was signed in Vientiane on February 9.

The Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development on Feb. 7 held a conference to discuss measures for the Mekong Delta to earn 1.85-2 billion USD from tra fish export in 2012.
